"Sports Day 2022 "

“Sports teach us how to face the Challenge." To help our students explore their hidden sports interests, build confidence and inculcate a desire to learn new skills by watching their peers, we the Management and Staff of Bensons International Academy organised the Annual Sports Meet for the academic year 2022-23. The school playground was overflowing with zeal. The Sports Meet commenced with the arrival of the Chief Guest Mrs. Laxmi Hebbalkar- MLA of Rural Belagavi and Guest of Honour Pastor Nooruddin Mulla Sir, Academic Director of Bensons Group of Institutions-Madam Rachna Gorle, Principal- Madam Josephine Gunti and Manager- Madam Cyma John. Our esteemed Chief Guest and dignitaries unfurled the Sports Flag to mark the beginning of an eventful day. Our Guest of Honour and Spiritual Leader - Pastor Nooruddin Mulla Sir offered a word of prayer and shared the Scripture message for this auspicious occasion. Oath taking ceremony was carried out by School Sports Captain Ms.Mansi Gavas. It was amazing to see the torch bearers hold the torch high and run around the ground proclaiming the burning desire every young athlete had in their hearts to exhibit their sporting talents. In honour of our esteemed guests the School March Past troops marched in led by the Head Boy, Head Girl and the School Cabinet. Students displayed a wide array of energetic and bouncy sports ranging from lezim exercise, hoola hoops, dumb bell exercise, drills, karate, and track and field events. Games we're arranged for the parents, which they enjoyed as it gave them an opportunity to re- live their childhood days. Proud parents were over joyed to see their children emerge as young aspiring athletes. Chief Guest Mrs. Laxmi Hebbalkar addressed the audience emphasizing the importance of sports in a child's life. The Management, Authorities and Staff was applauded by the Chief Guest for their team efforts and facilities provided to the students for their overall development. Our Annual Sports Meet was a grand success with the grace of the Almighty and the team efforts.
